What to expect with Goldfinch Energy
Replacing your AC with a heat pump - the costs (after tax) are around $8,000 - $9,000 depending on the size of the heat pump, brand and complexity of the installation. We work primarily with Mits Air heat pumps as they provide great tech support and spare parts.
Replacing your furnace + AC with a heat pump - the costs (after tax) are between $11,000 - $20,000+. The range is mostly due to the brand. Mitsubishi Electric is the most expensive heat pump out there but the equipment issues are about one tenth. We also install Midea-made heat pumps, primarily Mits Air.
Replacing your furnace + AC with a new gas furnace + heat pump - the costs (after tax) are between $17,000 - $18,000. This option is not always the cheapest to install or operate but can sometimes be desirable for larger homes that aren’t as well insulated.
